Carysfort Close, Elton

Carysfort Close is the Association’s most recent development. Situated at the upper end of Overend, opposite All Saints Church, the properties are largely constructed of locally quarried limestone, which allows the development to mold naturally into its traditional surroundings.

The 17 properties – eight cottages and nine flats are grouped round two formal courtyards, in the shadow of the former iron works, (now more of a barn than an iron foundry), where some of the earliest agricultural machinery was made in the agricultural revolution. All properties enjoy either the use of a garage or car port.

Residents at Carysfort Close will benefit from the installation of the alarm system for emergencies; the security of two Courtyard managers living on site; the possibility of an allotment if required; and a minibus to take residents on shopping trips to Oundle and surrounding areas.
