Hasells Courtyard, Long Melford
|
Hasells Courtyard is the smallest of the ECA schemes, completed in 1983 with eight 2 bedroom and one 3 bedroom cottages. The main courtyard leads to a square lawn area around which the cottages are set. The cottages are built in a style syapthetic to their surroundings and are topped with "malting" style vents.

All of the 2 bedroom cottages look out onto managed flower bed areas, whilst the 3 bedroom property looks out onto the front of the scheme. Double garden doors lead to communal back gardens overlooking a field with extensive country views.
A black weatherboard barn houses 7 of the 9 garages which are set to the rear of the courtyard. The Managers' cottage is a few yards across the road.
