North Mill Place, Halstead
|
North Frost’s Mill, on Mill Chase, is the former home and family business of the Frost family who owned the Mill since 1720 and provided corn and animal feed throughout North Essex, until it closed in 1989 after over 250 years. Although the sails and tower of the windmill have been removed, the machinery has been preserved and its buildings extended and converted into three delightful and unique two and three bedroom dwellings facing the “stump” in the old mill yard, whist their gardens front on to the courtyard.

North Mill Place, built in the former paddock of Frost’s Mill and complementing its style, consists of 14 new, spacious, two and three bedroom cottages and 4 large apartments surrounding three sides of a courtyard and pond, in the middle of which is magnificent walnut tree.
All properties have their own garage near by: there is accommodation for the Courtyard Managers, who live on site: a comfortable guest suite for resident’s guests and our own minibus service, essentially to assist residents with their shopping.
