The Association is responsible for the upkeep of the buildings and grounds. Most importantly, it employs resident Courtyard Managers and their non resident Reliefs who between them operate a 365 day service, based on personal contact. Further information on the Courtyard Manager's role.
As a management organisation, the ECA is not in a postion to offer nursing or domestic support, but it will assist residents and their families where individual situations change.
We Provide
- The management and control of grounds, gardens and buildings at each scheme, to provide an attractive, well maintained and safe environment in which to live;
- A personal alarm system for all residents, giving the security and comfort of knowing that emergencies will be effectively and sensitively dealt with;
- To provide short term help in the event of illness until further arrangements are made and longer term or permanent support is put in place ;
- To look for signs of need and to deal with them, but always with the privacy and independence of residents in mind;
- Allow you the freedom of being able to leave your home in the safe knowledge that there is someone on hand to look after it;
- The provision of a guest flat and laundry, managed on your behalf - and on some schemes a regular minibus service for local shopping trips.
The Association prides itself on effective management by;
- Having a responsive and accesible management structure;
- Employing experienced staff at all levels;
- Engaging in dialogue between residents and staff, through both informal discussion and structured consultation;
- Following best practice and exercising value for money, keeping up to date with all legal requirements.
